A New Age Starts in the Leaf Village

The small white cat, danced on the sill of the window. Peering down at the scene below him he was nearly ashamed as he witnessed what he did. "Nen what are you doing?" Nen looked over at the black and white Humphrey. "Simply watching your Mistress learn that my Master is not the only man in the Universe..." Humphrey walked foreword and saw his Chiyo blush and practice the piano. "It will break my Tynan's heart, this will...Tell your Chiyo...to bathe before she goes to the ramen shop tomorrow...." Humphrey looked at Nen and Nen gave a catish grin. "Tynan will be able to smell the Yuto on her...and in his mind he's laid claim...Though a fight between my Chunin and this Jouin would be interesting..."

"Blah blah blah...do the dishes, sweep the floor...What the hell. Can't ninjas have free Maids or something?!" Mizuki mumbled to herself while butting the glass container of milk on the counter.
"hey there sister!" Xander said ruffling Mizuki's hair
Mizuki's eyes shot to Chiyo's face, she was quiet to the point of suspicion. Mizuki figured it was just because she was in a different person's house.
"So, how'd Xander treat you? Do i have to put him outside?" Mizuki chuckled
Xander simply smiled at Chiyo and winked behind Mizuki's Back adding a snort of laughter at the end.
He decided to open the milk and chug for all it was worth.

(OOC: Don't we have a mission or something today? o_O)

Chiyo took a deep breath, and slowly let it out. She was trying to listen to what Lucian was saying, but there was a roaring sound filling her ears. Breathing heavily again, she dug her nails into her palm as roughly as she could and the roaring died down slowly. She relaxed her face and soon a blank mask. The only tell-tale sign of weakness was her clutched fist. "Thank you for coming here, Commander." She nodded politely. "I would like to see her now, if you don't mind." She turned back to Mizuki and Alexander, and offered a small wave, but stared down at their shoes when she did. She walked out the front door and promptly turned left, knowing the way to the ANBU headquarters as well as knowing the way to her own home. This wasn't the first time her mother had been injured, and Chiyo knew very well that it wouldn't be the last.
She walked beside Lucian at a slow pace and scrambled to guess how young he was as she watched him slip his mask back on.
Year Of the Turtle. He is twelve. Humphrey purred from next to her. She nodded and smiled. He must be a great ninja, then.
A very quiet ninja. Humphrey purred again, examining the figure. Chiyo rolled her eyes, but glanced at the mask as well. He's the ANBU commander. What do you expect?
Chiyo followed him left again and the headquarters loomed overhead. Digging her nails deeper into her palm, Chiyo stepped inside without a change in expression.
She noticed how some guards jumped to stop her from going further, but when they saw Lucian, they stopped and glared at his back as he passed.
She walked quickly to keep up, and wondered what it felt like to be an enemy in your own home. To be a leader of a group of people who hated you, for being so young.
"I pity you, Commander." She said politely, deeply wishing she could hug him. He looked at her through his mask, but she could tell by his body that he thought she was crazy. "It must be hard, being so young here." She added, and when he pulled his mask off and his eyes were flashing with anger, she quickly added even more. "I mean, not many people here believe you can do such great things. You must be surrounded by disbelievers. it must be unnerving." She smiled, and was relieved when the anger died away from his eyes and he slipped his mask back on. Suddenly, he stopped, and she thought maybe she had upset him after all. But her merely opened a door and let her pass through. She recognized the room right away, it was the infirmary. Several Junins were laying on the numerous beds, but Chiyo recognized her mother on the farthest bed. She walked brusquely to her and knelt beside the bed into a chair someone had placed nearby.
Fighting back tears, Chiyo gathered her mother's long hair, which was usually floating in the wind, and smelled of strawberries, but now was caked with mud and leaves. Chiyo began brushing through it with her fingers, as she knelt down to kiss her mother's forehead. "I love you, mommy." She whispered, hoping her mother could hear. She took notice of her mother's dried and chapped lips and quickly dug into her pocket for some lip balm. As she put some on her mother, Chiyo noticed that not only was her hair a mess, it was her face too. She stood quickly and turned to find Lin, a medical ninja she knew well, who could find her a bucket of water and a rag. But she almost bumped into Lucian, who was still standing there, mask off, staring at Sayuri with a funny look in his eyes. Chiyo blushed at catching him with such a look on his face and quickly ran off to find Lin. She found her right away and after a hug, she got her bucket of water without too much trouble, with a promise from Lin she would visit later. When Chiyo arrived back at the bed, she saw Lucian had sat down on the bed across from her mother. Chiyo pretended not to have noticed him before and began to dab at her mother's face to clean it.
When the silence grew too much for her to bear, she couldn't help but whisper to him: "Who did this?"

"The mission today, we were scouting an enemy headquarters..." Lucian began softly and slowly his eyes never leaving Sayuri's face. "I came as back up, I never thought that..." He stopped and tore a sleeve of his cloak off dipped it in the water and began to clean Sayuri's hands paying mind to the finger nails that were caked in blood...Something Chiyo must have learned from her mother. Lucian had noticed before that she dug her nails into her palm when keeping her clam, Sayuri had done the same.

"We had an infiltration, one of our lower squad leaders, just low enough so that I would have no contact with them..." He sighed and rinsed his cloth. "A surprise attack...I barely was able to get there before..." His voice cracked and he simply held Sayuri's hand, the tears frozen inside of him.

"You mother, never treated me like a child. She treated me like an adult unless we were in private, she called me Kid, and I never minded. It pains me to see her this way, Chiyo, it wounds me when I loose members, or there are injuries but I take this to heart." Lucian saw that Chiyo's hand stopped rubbing as she listened.

"When I came upon them, your mother, the other lieutenants and the Captain were the only ones left standing. The others had been knocked out by a sleeping jutsu. I fought with them...." Lucian kissed Sayuri's hand, "Then all I hear is Look out Luc...."

"Your mother took he shot intended for me...even though I was already countering it as she leapt in front to block..." At this point Lucian thought he might cry, and he could feel his chakra begining to spiral out of his control, starting to weigh down the room...he placed his mask back on and stood.

"She took damage to her chakra, Chiyo...she may not be able to return to the ANBU...but I will do everything I can to see that she heals properly. Come now, you have training with your sensei today." He held a hand out too her, and when Sayuri was clean they stood and walked.

They walked down the corridors of the ANBU headquarters and Lucian spoke softly. "You do not need to pity me Chiyo, already I deal with far to much pity and greif...It is fine to be hated in this house as long as I can protect the village and the people I love anger and hate do not affect me..." He spoke the last part in the smallest of whispers.

"Commander." The chorus of voices rang out and soon a group of four stood in front of Lucian. "Report." He said sharply and one in a fox mask spoke. "Sir, a group of Sound Ninja are attacking the infirmary...they are nearly in..." The officer barely had time to finish his report before Lucian rang faster than sound to the infirmary. Just as he arrived the walls were blown open, those that could run picked up those who couldn't and ran. Medical Shinobi tried to hold the fighters off.

Lucian slit his finger with his kunai and smashed the floor. "Summoning Jutsu!" He cried, and in a poof of white smoke a large white bear appeared. "You called Master Lucian?" Lucian threw his shuriken and mowed a group down. "Alesa take Sayuri and run, her daughter as well." The bear nodded and with incredible speed rolled the bed out of the room.

"Lucian it's been a while." The unmistakable voice rang threw the cleared infirmary. Lucian threw off his cloak revealing his black body suit with many holders. "Kabuto..." He said softly, facing off against the older man. "Oh you didn't forget about me young Commander did you?" The voice that sounded of snake scales threw leaves spoke up. "Orochimaru."

Talon twitched. It was early morning, she was supposed to meet her squad soon...but she had been drawn to the ANBU headquarters, a place she had called home once. It was when th screams started and she leapt off the building and flew into the broken infirmary that she knew it was no accident that she was here. "Orochimaru!" She screamed, taking the three men by surprise. "You're going to pay for what you did to Uncle Sarutobi ((A/N: Don't remember how to spell the name....she means the Third, and I know they aren't blood realitives)).

Then all hell broke loose....Orochimaru vs. Talon and Kabuto vs. Lucian

Lucian was holding his own, he would have been excelling but the two headed snake was giving him a spot of trouble. Currently he and Talon were fighting back to back, his face mask lay in a pile of rubble, and Talon was bleeding.

"This can't last much longer." Talon said before swearing and throwing both her and Lucian to the ground. "I know, we need to get to Lady Tsunade, tell her what's happening." Lucian stood and ran as the snake bit down at them, throwing shards of stone everywhere. "Talon!" He screamed and she nodded, both with bloody hands performed hand signs and called "Summoning Jutsu!"

A large black bear with gold markings appeared, the Cheif Bear, on his head stood Lucian. Besides Talon were four seven foot tall turtles, one with red markings, one with blue, one with orange, and one with purple.

Lucian saw a bit of movement out of the corner of his eye and turned. "Chiyo get out of here...you're no match for them." It was too late, Kabuto had seen his chance and Chiyo was snatched up into his arms. Though she struggled it was plain to see she couldn't match the other ninja's strength.

"Kushin, now!" Talon roared, and charged with her four warriors towards the snake. Lucian saw the boy Kushin's eyes go sea green/blue and suddenly Kabuto was lying on the snake screaming. Lucian took his chance. "Talon what is that?" Talon smiled as they attacked the snake once more.

"A useful Kekki Genkai... the Tortakai though it won't last long I'd go now if I were you." Lucian nodded seeing Kushin already becoming weak and rushed to Chiyo only to be stopped by Orochimaru...

Kushin opened a bleary eye..."Ch-chiyo..." He said his body feeling as if it were on fire, he'd over used his gift and now this man with a neon colored chakra level was approaching them quickly. "Chiyo, we have to...get out of here..." He said barely able to move his body into the upright position. Breathing hard Kushin tried to stand only to fall back to the ground.

Lucian stared Orochimaru down, Talon at his side. "I can't believe you brought a Genin to this match, very foolish of you Uzumaki." Orochimaru taunted, and Talon smirked. "He follows me around I can't help it the kid kicked your sorry sidekicks ass." Orochimaru smirked and again the battle began.

Only this time instead of trying to defeat the Sound Ninja, Talon and Lucian were slowly edging themselves towards Kushin and Chiyo.

Ty had a bad feeling, it grew worse and worse as the seconds ticked by. Finally he couldn't take it anymore, leaping off his bed Ty began to run in the direction in which he sensed Chiyo. "Ty what are you doing?" Nen and Ea both asked easily keeping pace with the shinobi. "Chiyo...in trouble I can...sense her..." He didn't notice the cats roll of eyes or the dogs whine of worry. As he was running he barely noticed when he jumped a fence and landed in a huge tangle of flowers. He barely stopped and began to rip the offending buds off himself when he was thrown to the ground, away from the plants by a pink haired girl..."Mizuki not now!" He screamed, she was a year behind him and the pink haired one had always stood out. "You ruined my mom's flower garden!" She screamed back, giving him the crazy look. "I don't care!" Ty roared back, his voice mixing with an inhuman growl. "Chiyo's in trouble...I have to find her...Mizuki I HAVE TO SAVE HER!" Ty was howling now, pain, sadness, and fear for Chiyo...giving into his animal side...

Airen stood contentedly between Itachi and Kisame, as they gave their reports. She listened intently, though they paid her no mind as she simply smiled in her childish way. It seemed that she had forgotten this afternoon and was simply being a normal child but on the inside she remembered. All her fear and sadness, and anger was bubbling in only the way a child's can, she was going to pay them all back for hurting her. Just as she was about to ask Leader a question the door way opened and in stumbled a man and a woman. She recognized the woman as Auntie Akira the newest member of their little group but she didn't know the man, though the child didn't care. Airen flung herself into Akira's arms. "Auntie Akira's home..." Airen's smile faded as she became perplexed. "Auntie Akira why do you smell so strange? And why does this man smell the same?" Airen didn't hear it but all three Akatsuki members in the background were snickering, sure Akira would curse the child's exceptional sense of smell.

Quin blushed slightly at the child before picking her up and holding her. The way she was angled her small legs were around his waist and he held her upper back and her rump while she looked at him. At first her eyes were wide, but then they calmed, though Quin never sensed a heightened heart beat. "Hey cutie, my names Quin...what's yours?" Airen looked at him and gave a shy smile, she was never shy! "I'm Airen..." she said softly. Quin poked her nose. "Airen is a good name...now why Airen are you her, shouldn't you be with your mommy and daddy?" The quick intake of breath could be heard breifly, and Quin became even more suspicious. A young girl living and seemingly thriving with the Akatsuki? Something must be wrong. She jumped from his arms and ran to the large man whom Akira told him was called Leader, how original. "This is my daddy Quinny...." She ran from him to Kisame "This is my cousin Kisame!" And finally she clung to Itachi. "And this is my big brother Itachi..." She looked at the man and nodded. "This is my family..."

Erriku walked down the road, she currently had three windmill shuriken strapped to her back. This was her only visible weapon but she had enough concealed in her tiny red dress to put most ANBU to shame. The stark black hair that was cut jagged by kunai hung to just below her shoulders, Erriku felt that it was un-nessecary to travel as her male self as a woman most felt she posed no threat.

Though she did pose a threat, more than any would know. Erriku never knew what it was that caused her to hide her sharingan from her realitives, even more the fact that she had a mangekyo sharingan. Perhaps that she knew that her possessing her clan trait would cause them even more alarm.

Erriku had always been different, not a boy not accepted, but more so. She'd always had the strangest urges, whether it was to practice a jutsu because she knew she could do it, or simply to sit and watch the others around her. Erriku had never felt hate, because most of the time she simply was lonely and that drove her. She wanted to succeed more than anything, and be considered her brother's equal.

Glancing up Erriku noticed the sun was at its noon high, with a light sigh she walked off the road and into the shelter of a nearby tree. Already her alabastor skin was becoming sunkissed, though it wouldn't stay that way for long, Uchiha's were pale by nature and inclination.

All she could do was continue on, traveling to the village of her birth, where she grew up and where all of her family but two were killed off.

Erriku smiled, it was the odd smile that not many could stand down. Her clan, all dead but two, her own brothers Itachi and Sasuke...and it was Sasuke she was after. Erriku had always walked a different path, from those around her. They trained to save lives, she trained to kill...her baby brother who had taken the life she would have had. He got all the glory, and Erriku was going to take it from him.

Sighing she laid back and stretched out in the grass, a nap, until the cool, sweet kiss of night touched her skin paled it again, as it always had. She only wished to travel by moonlight, when the shadows crept, and the world was silent. That was her time, had always been.

As a child, her nurse, would take her outside to play in the moonlight, even then Erriku had understood the power of silence. Be silent as you play and we can stay longer, be quiet as I let you hold Sasuke and watch Itachi sleep. Oh Erriku knew her brothers, every curve, every face made in sleep. She came to know them by the sounds they made in sleep, was able to identify them in the day, she'd been happy hidden away.

Erriku frowned staring at the sky, then her mother sent her away, had seen her practicing her jutsu, had seen her strength and feared. Her mother was weak, a branch woman with no sharingan and a low chakra level, her daughter was as strong in the Uchiha traits as her sons and she feared.

"Horrid woman, I'm glad you're dead, you never loved me..." Then she thought of her father, a strong man, a wise man, but he had never seen past her looks. "Such a pretty girl, for such strong techniques...so cute and already that powerful..." He mocked her constantly, had she the chance Erriku would have killed them herself but no...Itachi her big brother...he had killed them first.

She was seeking for him now, on her way to Konoha...her brother who had never met her. Just to glimpse the man that had taken away that pain from her, would be enough, then she could find Sasuke and finish her revenge. Revenge, so strange to feel the need to get it, but then Erriku had nothing to live for, only to die trying to validate her existence, killing him would make all those know that she was alive. The last living female Uchiha.

She heard it then the laughter in the distance, crouching low she crawled over to a nearby bush and peered out. A large pond, and three people dressed in black cloaks stood next to it, watching as a blue-ish man taught her to swim. 'How odd?' she thought to herself and got as close as she could, masking her chakra and listening and watching the scene.

"It's amazing how she was able to grow up here, unhindered or seemingly affected by you lot and you're evil ways." Quin said watching as Kisame teased Arien about her unwebbed feet. "Hn. She is a creature of adaptation, we are hardly around. Usually it is just her and Leader here..." Itachi said. Quin smiled as Airen began to blow bubbles.

"Akria, love, I know you want to swim too...take a dip we don't have to leave right away..." Airen shouted as Kisame picked her up and threw her into deeper water.

Erriku smiled, she knew that voice though it had deepened, Itachi, her brother.

Kabuto looked down at the new arrivals and grinned. The boy, the last of the Sounga that was clear from the blue markings on his face. "Master Orochimaru..." Kabuto began and Orochimaru took one look and grinned. "Yes, he'd be a great addition to our village, find the chinks and begin his preparation..."

Talon and Lucian eyed the two suspiciously, as they were just far enough away not to hear them talk. Talon glanced down...and rolled her eyes, now her only two students were in this fight and one was a hostage. "Mizuki Haruno! Get your pink haired butt out of here right now, this is not a fight for you."

'Not yet at least...' Lucian thought standing next to his black bear, countering the snakes coming at Talon and himself. He saw the tears in Mizuki's eyes, and knew that she thought Kabuto was her father, what would she do when she found out the opposite?

Kabuto stopped fighting and looked to see the pink haired girl, Haruno? Certainly not Izzi, she was far too young. Fixing his glasses the shinobi took a closer look and gasped. "Master Orochimaru..." His tone was urgent, causing his master to look at the girl. His eyes widened, and after the look of shock came the grin with only ill intentions. "It seems our little Izzi was lying when we questioned her those sixteen years ago...she has my eyes..."

Ty took one look at Chiyo caught in the force feild and rushed after her, only to be stopped by a few nameless ninja. "Mizuki...get Chiyo!" He screamed, as he Ea and Nen activated their new technique and the northern lights began to attack the enemy with a vengence.

"A weakness for both I think..." Kabuto spoke softly and quickly was at Chiyo's side, a pair of kunai at her throat a small trail of blood trickled down her neck. "Sounga, Mizuki...I would suggest stopping unless you want her life blood spilled on the steps." Ty instantly stopped his assult on the ninja, who collapsed into a heap. He was soon on the ground, his head forced up with a kunai to his throat.

"Mizuki Chiyo!" Talon flew towards her students, but was caught by four snakes and thrown to the ground. They began to coil around her body and she screamed in pain the more they tightened. "Mizuki, run...." She gasped out before they squeezed tighter...

Lucian watched the scene, recklessness would get him nowhere, but he couldn't sit by and watch. He ran and threw himself at Orochimaru, who was ready for the attack. Luc was strong by the Legendary Sannin was stronger and he soon had Luc in his hands held tight. "So strong...I passed up one like you once before...never again..." Luc struggled, and his eyes widened as Orochimaru bit down on his neck. Lucian screamed, and screamed, before being thrown to the ground and left to writh as Orochimaru went to Ty.

The snake master looked at Mizuki, crying, holding her bass staring at Kabuto. "You look to be asking yourself why he would do such a thing....you think he's your father." Her golden eyes were scathing as they cut to him, Orochimaur grinned. "He is no such thing, in fact your mother only met Kabuto the day she was forced from my village..." With mild interest he caught the shuriken thrown at him by Lucian. "Still able to move after that bite? Well if the other's are as lively as you I will have a great number of hosts to choose from..." He moved to Chiyo who struggled, her eyes wide with terror.

"Mizuki is your name...My name is Orochimaru and I..." Lucian coughed and stood. "Don't....you can't...." Before falling once again to the ground, Orochimaru grinned. "So the ANBU have know this entire time....Mizuki I am your father..." His voice was the slither of a snake on fallen leaves, his laugh a hiss as he bent down and pressed his mouth to Chiyo's neck...

"Chiyo! CHIYO!" Ty screamed and managed to shake off his constrainers before being tackled, a dozen kunai pressed into his body...He lay crying as they tied his arms..."Chiyo....chiyo..."

(OOC: ::cough:: ::cough:: I say nothing.)

Orochimaru's cold hands sent gooseflesh all up and down Chiyo's rigid body.
The adrenaline was wearing off, and for the first time she feared for herself. A tear trailed down her cheek when his pressed his lips to her neck, and she didn't flinch away, knowing that any sudden movements could cause a nick of the skin, and she would be forever in his enslavement.
A tool.
That was enough to silence her completely. She didn't even scream out Ty's name with she felt the sharp teeth pressing down slowly.
She looked up into Mizuki's eyes and deep down she knew, that all of their fates rested with her.
Please, Mizuki. I know you can do this... She thought, trying to send a message of hope loud enough for Mizuki to hear. But the girl remained rigid and staring at Orochimaru, mouth open in shock.
Chiyo could only hope that Mizuki could handle this pressure like a true Shinobi...
